New Room

Trey's old spot in the NICU

They have moved Trey from his spot in the NICU to the rooming in room. We will be rooming in with him Sunday and Monday and taking him home Tuesday. Please pray for courage as we are real nervous. He will be on oxygen, an apnea monitor, a heart monitor, and a saturation monitor. He is 4lbs. 8.75 oz.

We'll be praying for you all - that you get all the preparation you will need before you come home. Also that God will ease your anxiety and give you a quiet night:)

Praying for stillness of your hearts as you prepare to take Trey home. Our granddaughter went home on oxygen and a monitor and she is still on it and has never "alarmed". We won't know how to act when all the attachments are gone! God bless you as you enter this new phase as a family home together. I have a picture of Ruby on my blog if you'd like to see her today. She was born last September, 15 weeks early at 1 lb 9 oz and today is almost 9 lbs.

I'm still praying for Trey and you!!!

Once Trey gets home, I think he will do amazingly well.... He will be in the comfort of mommy and daddy....No doctors or nurses around bugging him, other baby's monitors going off or crying,...He'll be able to rest peacefully :0)

When my Avery was in the NICU, he developed really bad diaper rash and a really bad yeast infection.......He hasn't had anything like that since being home......

Anyways, you guys are in my prayers!!! :0)

We are so happy for you that his discharge day is finally here! I know it's a mixture of emotions - half elation, half terror. You'll do great! Remember, God gave Trey to you guys to raise. Good luck & keep in touch!! We'll keep praying!

I am so elated that Trey is doing so well. We will continue to pray that God will ease your anxiety and He will. Once you are adjusted, you will do great. His weight is good news too.

I know how excited and terrified at the same time that you are to be finally bringing Trey home. I know that you are a jumble of emotions right now- afraid that something will happen and he will be back in the NICU. Ya'll will be great and Trey will thrive when he gets home with his mommy and daddy and siblings!

Congrats on this final step!
