PLEASE pray for Trey!

Trey has been having a difficult day. His O2 is up to 80% at the current moment (it has been higher today) & his Carbon Dioxide is at 82.

Current Plan
  • decrease feedings in hopes to "dry" him out - less fluids=easier time breathing
His chest x-ray came back showing the one lung still not opening properly & some concern the opposite lung also.

His vapotherm is still at 6 liters.

As of now, they have not intubated (put a vent back in)

PLEASE pray that they will be able to lower his settings & for NO vent.

Also, please continue to lift up James, Naomi, & the girls as this is a long emotional journey. Naomi is currently fighting a kidney infection & needs prayers for that also.

Thank you for continuing to lift Trey up to the Great Physician.

Our prayers are with you. Trey is an adorable little boy. We want you to know we miss him and are keeping up with his progress. It was an honor to share a room with Trey. Again, our prayers are with you.

We have been praying for Trey and all of you.

I hope today is full of lots of good news about Trey. But, if today is difficult, rest in the knowledge that God has His plans for Trey - whatever the daily back and forth of progress or setbacks brings, He knows what His plans are.

When prayer is choked and seems impossible, there is always this - and it is enough: Jesus, I trust in you.

Praying for you, mom and dad, this is among the hardest things you will ever do. Go easy on yourselves and let everyone take care of you.

Sincerely, Monica

(I write this as a mom who has gone through three open heart surgeries w/ her baby - I was always a basketcase, but He always took care of us and I know He is with you, *especially*).
